How to Invest

You can invest in our hedge funds either directly or via an investment platform.

Direct
For all direct investments, complete the necessary forms (below) and email us the ‘Know Your Client’ (KYC) documents required by the Financial Intelligence Centre Amendment (FICA) Act. Your documents will be reviewed, and you will receive an Investor Number if all is in order. The final step is to transfer your investment directly to the bank account of the relevant fund using your allocated Investor Number as reference – it’s that simple. You will receive monthly statements (and an annual tax report) from the independent administrator, Apex Fund and Corporate Services SA (Pty) Ltd.

Notably, it made a significant acquisition of Sanne Group, a well-known provider of alternative asset and corporate services on a global scale.

Apex’s Management Company, FundRock Management Company (RF) (Pty) Ltd, is a registered Collective Investment Scheme Management Company regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority. Core deliverables of the Management Company are to ensure regulatory and mandate compliance of the portfolios and to perform an independent risk monitoring function. The Management Company maintains a strong internal control structure to minimise risk of operational and financial failure.

You need to complete an application form to invest. Note that there are separate forms for individuals (natural persons) and for legal entities.

Our South African domiciled funds are available on most major investment platforms, including the ones listed below. These platforms also offer our funds via Living Annuities and Endowments. If you do not see our funds on your preferred investment platform, please reach out to us for assistance.
